Our Staff

Mrs. Sheila McDairmant has been at playschool for over fifteen years. She holds a NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education and is the designated Safeguarding officer. She also holds a current first aid certificate and is the storyteller of the group. She has three grown up children.

Mrs Jane Tinning has been at playschool for over ten years. As a previously registered child minder she has lots of experience working with children and also has three sons. She holds an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development, has completed her SENCO training and is deputy manager. She is also our recycling monitor and encourages us all to be a little more ‘green’. Mrs Tinning enjoys walking, gardening and walks with her dog JoJo and holidays with her family.

Mrs Jossie Findlay has been at playschool for over five years and, being from Peru, is our foreign language specialist! She has been teaching the children Spanish in a fun way using music, songs and puppets, which they really enjoy. Mrs. Findlay is a Cache level 3 Teaching Assistant and she teaches Spanish to children at a local primary schools. She has a daughter and a son of her own.

Pete McDairmant has provided care for the past five years to a young adult with learning disabilities. Pete is a drummer and has given drumming lessons to several children. Pete also enjoys running and cycling.
